Vine-growers and wine-merchants from father to son for over 400 years in Nuits-Saint-Georges, DUFOULEUR Père & Fils, together with its name, experience, know-how and constant search for quality is a recognised winemaker in Burgundy.

  The Company is made out of two entities:

  • the Domaine Guy DUFOULEUR which, from its 41 hectares vineyards, makes its own wines from its own grapes (Fixin 1er cru "Clos du Chapitre", Nuits-Saint-Georges and 1er cru, Santenay "Clos Genêts" and Hautes Côtes de Nuits red and white)

  • the Trading Company DUFOULEUR Père & Fils (Négociant-Eleveur) which buys grapes and makes its own vinification (red & white) for over 80% of its AOC wines. In addition, it is the exclusive distributor of the wines from the Domaine Guy Dufouleur.

  Our range of wines includes over 70 different appellations (Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Chalonnais, Maconnais, Beaujolais, Rhône Valley and South of France wines).

The Domaine and the Trading Company are managed by the members of the Dufouleur family

Combining traditional methods to modern equipments, Dufouleur is working to have the best expression in each of its wines of the terroir (soil & subsoil) where it comes from to better outline its tipicity, originality and unique character.

All of our AOC wines are matured in French oak barrels. The percentage of new oak barrels varies from 20% to 50% depending on the appellation.
