Dufouleur Père & Fils have been winemakers and merchants from father to son for over 4oo years. This experience and a constant emphasis on quality have made Dufouleur’s reputation today as a household Burgundy Name.

Dufouleur Père & Fils has two distinct activities :

The Estates: Domaine Guy & Yvan DUFOULEUR and Domaine BARBIER & Fils (Covering nearly 41 hecatres of vineyards in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune : Fixin 1er cru "Clos du Chapitre", Nuits-Saint-Georges and premiers crus, Santenay "Clos Genets", Hautes-Côtes de Nuits ...).

The Merchant Trading House DUFOULEUR Père & Fils is the exclusive distributor world-wide for the Estate wines. It also vinifies and ages wines made from grapes sourced from contracted growers, which represent 80% of its production of Côte d’Or AOC (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) wines.

Our range carries over 70 different appellations (Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Chalonnais, Mâconnais, Beaujolais and Rhône Valley).

For more than 13 generations both sides of the company have been managed by members of the Dufouleur family.

Combining traditional methods with modern equipment, Dufouleur Père & Fils endeavours to produce wines that express the unique characteristics of each individual terroir.

All our AOC wines are aged in French oak barrels. The proportion of new barrels used each year varies between 20% and 50% depending on the appellation.
